Bandit AW

Hi there! My name is Bandit, and I'm a female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky flair that makes me extra special. I was born on July 21, 2025, and I'm already a big girl, weighing in at 71 pounds! I recently had my spay surgery and microchip, and I was the perfect patient, taking all my medicine like a champ, especially with a little wet food.

Like most young shepherds, I'm full of energy and excitement. I love an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors. Chasing a ball, chewing on bones, and playing with my siblings are some of my favorite things. I've even made friends with a Great Dane, so I can definitely keep up with the big dogs! Stuffed toys don't last long around me; I love seeing how fast I can make it look like it snowed in South Texas!

I'm a total sweetheart when it comes to people. I love to snuggle with my foster parents and give kisses whenever I can. Rub my chest or belly, and I'll melt right into your lap! I'm also great with the foster grandkids, ages 4 and 8. Sometimes I get a little excited and accidentally knock the little ones over, but I always apologize with lots of kisses.

Ideal Home

An active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors would be perfect for me. I love to play fetch and I can keep up with big dogs!

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and use a doggy door. I'm still working on crate training and getting more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly.
