Ruthie

Ruthie is a delightful sweetheart with a heart of gold, born on Valentine's Day in 2023 and weighing in at 28 lbs. She's a wonderful family dog who is already house, crate, and leash trained, though she doesn't even need a crate! Ruthie is incredibly affectionate with her humans and gentle with children. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and is indifferent to cats. Her ideal day involves relaxing at home, enjoying some time in a fenced yard, and going for nice walks. Ruthie is also very smart and picks up new commands quickly.

Ideal Home

Ruthie thrives in a home where she can be close to her humans. She enjoys a fenced yard and would love leisurely walks.

Ongoing Health

Ruthie has an unusual and serious heart condition, a heart murmur, which is why she was returned as a puppy. She has been waiting for her special someone for two years. The rescue will work with a cardiologist to arrange her ongoing care once she is adopted. Due to her condition, she should not be spayed, and it's important to keep her safe from unneutered male dogs.

Ruthie is already house, crate, and leash trained. She's a smart girl who learns commands quickly.
