Callie

Callie is a 6-year-old, 50 lb Labrador Retriever and Husky mix with the kindest soul. Her world was turned upside down through no fault of her own. She was moved to a new state and climate, and what was meant to be temporary turned into months of waiting for a family that never returned. The rescue received the heartbreaking call that Callie was no longer wanted. She has been waiting patiently, holding onto hope and a heart full of love, longing not to be forgotten. Callie is incredibly loving, takes treats gently, adores belly rubs, and is a wonderful alert dog. She finds comfort in companionship and routine and enjoys the company of other dogs.
