Meet Luca, a sweet and loving 2-year-old Aussie mix who weighs 33 lbs. Luca's journey began with hardship when he was abandoned at an oil field, but rescue has given him a second chance at happiness. Despite his past, Luca is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to his people, enjoying gentle pets, belly rubs, and simply being by your side. He's doing well in his crate and is steadily improving his leash skills. Luca is eager to learn and will blossom with a patient owner who can help him continue to build his confidence. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but he's also happy to be the sole focus of attention. Luca is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworm.
