Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever! Ashton is a happy and energetic boy who had to say goodbye to his family when they moved. He's adjusting to shelter life and doing his best to take everything in stride. Ashton absolutely loves to play fetch and will happily bring the ball right back to you for another round! He enjoys being active and spending quality time with his people. While he's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along well with the other dogs at the shelter. He's truly a large guy with a big personality to match!

Ashton is looking for a family who will be committed to him for life and provide him with the stability he deserves after losing the only home he's ever known.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter. He will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care moving forward to keep him happy and healthy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy who doesn’t always understand just how big he is. Continued positive reinforcement and guidance will help him learn and grow.
