Meet Mac!

This handsome boy came to us about 7 months ago when he was just 4 months old. As with most black dogs, he gets overlooked time and time again. Mac is a sweet boy that is now almost 10 months old. His story is a typical one in the South. He was picked up as a stray in Shreveport, La when he was just a little baby and brought to a high-kill shelter. We know the odds of him having a happily ever after were not very good. Mac is now almost 10 mos old, fully vetted (vaccines/microchipped/neutered). He is good with other dogs as long as they are not dominant, cats are unknown, and he is really good with kids! He is a sweet boy that just wants to be loved and appreciated. He is also housebroken and crate trained.

Ideal Home

A physical fenced-in yard is strongly preferred but not required. No renters, as you must own your home due to breed mix.

Ongoing Health

Mac is fully vetted, including vaccines, microchip, and neuter.

Training & Support

Mac is housebroken and crate trained. He is good with other dogs, provided they are not dominant.
