Bolt

Bolt is a roughly 3-year-old Rat Terrier mix who is happy, busy, sweet, protective, playful, and loving. He's a great boy who still barks and loves everyone. His best friend is Piper, a special needs Yorkie, and he's known to be a good friend to other dogs. Bolt is crate trained but prefers to be with his people, snuggling, following them around, and hanging out nearby. He also rides well in the car and loves to go on adventures. He can be a perfect gentle companion or a playful pal.

Ideal Home

Bolt would love a home where he can be cherished for the wonderful dog he is. He enjoys being a gentle dog in the house and is good with kids. A fenced-in backyard is a must, giving him plenty of space to run, sniff, and play to his heart's content.

Ongoing Health

Bolt has an injury to his back end that causes him to have no feeling there. As a result, he wears a diaper and needs to be expressed for urination and defecation. He is a good sport about this routine, coming when called to be changed, and this will be a lifelong need.

Training & Support

Bolt is house-trained with assistance and will need his ongoing health needs managed. He is eager to please and loves to be with his people, making him a joy to train and live with.
