About Peter Pan

Peter Pan is a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, estimated to be born in March 2026. He currently weighs around 3 pounds and is expected to grow a bit more. Peter Pan and his littermates were found abandoned and are now in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He's a curious and charming little guy who loves exploring, playing tug-of-war, and snuggling up for naps. Peter Pan is a brave and social pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced properly. However, due to his small size, any existing pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions should be supervised. As his exact breed mix and adult size are unknown, be prepared for some puppy surprises!

Ideal Home

Peter Pan would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the time, as he cannot be left alone for long periods due to his young age. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, we will consider your application only if there is another adult available to care for him during the day. Please detail your puppy care plan in your application. His new family should be ready for the joys and occasional chaos of raising a tiny puppy.

Ongoing Health

As Peter Pan is a young puppy, he is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with positive reinforcement and patience.

Training & Support

Peter Pan will need continued potty training, crate training, and socialization. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision.
