Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of potential and a belly ready for treats! He's an independent spirit who spent his early months on a farm, giving him a unique background and lots of experience with other animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's had a taste of farm life, Bert is looking for a different adventure as a cherished family dog rather than a working companion. If you're seeking a confident, food-motivated friend to join your household, Bert might just be the perfect fit!

Ideal Home

Bert would thrive in a home where he can be a beloved family member. His farm upbringing means he's comfortable around various animals, but he's ready to trade pastures for playtime.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of his departure.

Training & Support

Bert is food-motivated, which will be a great asset in his training journey. We recommend continuing to build upon his confidence and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping him settle into his new home.

Transportation

Bert is currently fostered in Texas. Our organization provides transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by us and the adopter. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
