Brighton is a charming and resilient approximately 2-year-old, 11-pound Maltese mix with a spirit that shines brightly. He bravely overcame a severe injury that led to the amputation of his right front leg. Despite this, Brighton has adapted incredibly well, navigating his world as a confident tripod. He's agile enough to hop into cars and onto the couch, and nothing seems to slow down his zest for life. He's a devoted companion, happily following his foster mom everywhere, enjoying lap time, and snuggling up on the bed at night. Brighton is also a good housemate, coexisting peacefully with other dogs and seeming to ignore the foster cats. He's house-trained and walks nicely on a leash. This sweet boy is ready for a home where he can receive plenty of TLC.
Ideal Home
Brighton would thrive in a home that can offer him lots of love and attention. Due to his past trauma, he is not suited for a home with children under 8 years old and requires an experienced dog owner.
Ongoing Health
Brighton is a happy and healthy tripod! All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
Training & Support
Brighton is already house-trained and walks well on a leash. His foster mom describes him as her best friend, indicating his affectionate and loyal nature. He needs a patient and understanding owner who can continue to build his confidence and shower him with the love he deserves.
