Chance

Meet Chance! This sweet, 6-8 month old lab mix is a true testament to resilience. He was found abandoned in a wire crate on the side of the road, likely after being hit by a car. Chance suffered from severe road rash and a badly broken front leg, which sadly had to be amputated. Despite his traumatic start, Chance is now in a loving foster home, healing and showing his incredibly happy and affectionate spirit. He's a darling boy who adores other dogs, is highly motivated by food, and genuinely eager to please.

Chance is adapting to life on three legs like a champ! He's navigating stairs to get to the yard, where he loves to explore and relax. His foster parent describes him as the sweetest boy, making excellent progress with kennel and house training. He's also a hit with children, enjoying gentle pets from visiting nephews. Chance loves to play with toys, chew on bones, and eagerly anticipates his meals. We've promised Chance a bright future, and we hope you can be a part of making it the best life ever for him!

Chance's front leg was amputated due to injuries sustained before rescue. He is otherwise healthy and healing well.

Training & Support

Chance is doing well with kennel and house training. He is eager to please, which will be a great asset in his continued training.

Transportation

Chance is currently located in South Carolina. We provide transportation to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
