Maverick - ADOPTION PENDING!!!

Maverick is a handsome 3-year-old Boxer who came to us as an owner surrender. He's a sweet boy who is good with other dogs and has done well with kids ages 2-15, though he can be a little intimidated by very young children. Maverick is not a fan of cats. When he lost his canine companions, he developed some separation anxiety, leading to occasional potty accidents when left alone. He was started on medication for this, but since being with his foster family and befriending their dog Rosie, he's been doing much better and is slowly being weaned off his medication. He's a loving companion who is completely vetted.

Ideal Home

Maverick would do best in a home where he has canine companionship, as he has thrived with his foster sister Rosie. He would also prefer a home where someone is around often, as he can experience separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Maverick is completely vetted. He was on medication for separation anxiety, but is being weaned off and is doing well.

Training & Support

Maverick may need continued support to overcome separation anxiety. He is doing well with his foster family and his foster fur-sister.
