About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is a 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is delicate, beautiful, and oh-so-sweet! She currently weighs 35 pounds and is expected to reach a maximum of 40-45 pounds. Dahlia is a delightful pup who loves her morning routine, which includes a potty break, some zoomies, and a brisk walk where her leash skills are almost perfect, except when a squirrel appears! She's an adventurous soul who enjoys hitting the trails, making friends with everyone she meets, and isn't afraid to jump into a creek or river – making her an ideal camping companion.

During the workday, Dahlia is happy to snooze by her foster mom's side or enjoy play breaks with the other four dogs in the household. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, including two small females, one medium male, and a large female. She's a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly, showing her sweet nature. Dahlia's favorite pastimes include chasing pinecones and carrying around big sticks.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, ideally with another playful dog. If her people work outside the home full-time, regular visits to doggy daycare would be a great option for her. While she can adapt to apartment living, ample exercise is crucial. She has not been tested with cats or children, but we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up who will engage with her in play.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house-trained. She will initially cry when left alone in her crate but eventually settles. This should be considered for homes with shared walls. She will need her crate routine re-established in her new home, but eventually would love to share a bed with her humans.
