Lucy

Hi there, I'm Lucy! I'm a sweet, goofy, and incredibly affectionate medium-sized girl with big, soulful eyes and a heart full of love. I'm about a year old and was found on the side of the highway in Miami, FL, in rough shape. I couldn't walk or go to the bathroom on my own, and I was very scared and weak. Thankfully, someone stopped and helped me, and I've been on a long road to recovery ever since! Day by day, I got stronger, and now I can run and I'm feeling better than ever! I'm gaining weight and building muscle, and I'm already healthy and happy. All I'm missing now is a loving family to call my own. I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful canine companion. I'm a total "Velcro dog" in the best way possible and want to be near my people all the time, whether we're playing, snuggling, or just being together. I never take a moment for granted and wake up excited to be alive. I've been through a lot, but I've never lost my sweet and silly spirit.

Ideal Home

I would be happiest in a home with another playful dog to be my friend.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy and happy, but I am still gaining weight and building back muscle from my past injuries.
