Meet Piper, a 2-year-old Cane Corso/Boxer mix with a smile and a squishy face that will melt your heart. She's a lovebug who assumes everyone is already her best friend and leans in for hugs and nudges for attention. Piper is a social butterfly with other dogs, always ready for a romp, zoomies, and wrestling. She enjoys rough-and-rowdy play but also knows how to take breaks. She's been great with various play styles and is happy to engage with any dog who wants to be friends.
Ideal Home
Piper would love a yard for zoomies, but apartment living is possible if her people are active and committed to walks and adventures. She needs a cat-free home as she finds cats too interesting. While she is gentle and sweet, her enthusiastic "hugs" mean a home with older children would be best, and a kid test will be required to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.

Training & Support
Piper is smart and eager to please, but currently more interested in her surroundings than practicing perfect leash manners. She has the potential to be a wonderful family dog, but her enthusiastic greetings will need some guidance.

Transportation
We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
