Meet Scout, a delightful 45 lb German Shepherd Dog mix with an estimated birthday of April 13, 2025. Scoutie Pie is a little shy when you first meet him, but his love is unconditional once he warms up to you! He absolutely adores running and playing with his foster siblings, both human and canine. On lazy days, he’s just as happy cuddling up on the couch. Scout was rescued from a city shelter where he was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy pup. Now, he's eagerly awaiting his forever home!
Ideal Home
Scout would thrive in a home that can give him plenty of opportunities to play and explore. He's friendly with kids and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Scout is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support

Transporation
Scout is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is available to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
