Dottie

Dottie is a sweet 4-year-old, 62-pound girl who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She's a true cuddle bug who loves to play and is a loyal companion. Dottie is intelligent, food-motivated, and learns training quickly, always eager to please. Her goofy personality and love for toys will surely bring laughter and joy to your home.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session a day. She enjoys playing with rope toys, stuffies, and tug-o-war. She does well with one or two calm, big dogs and can also live happily as the only pet. She is friendly with cats and will engage them playfully if they initiate. Dottie does have issues with younger men/boys and would do best in a home without them or an all-female home. She is great meeting women.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, although she is also comfortable free-roaming and does well when settled. She walks great on leash and calmy by your side, but will pull and bark if she sees another dog. She can get overstimulated in large groups of dogs but enjoys calmer environments.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up.
