Hello everyone, my name is Simon! I'm about as cute as they come with my little legs, reminding everyone of a Dachshund. My foster mom isn't quite sure what breed I am, but she knows for sure that I'm a 100% adorable boy!

If you're looking for a fun, loving lap dog, a champion cuddler, and a silly little guy, that's me! I seem to be a low-rider with short legs. I love squeaky toys and my favorite part of the day is chow time. Sometimes my foster mom plays "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive, and I show her my moves as I spin around my slow feeder bowl.

Ideal Home

I would love for my future family to have a fenced-in backyard so I can run and play. Having a four-legged friend would be a bonus, but it's not a requirement because I'm self-sufficient with playtime and toys.

Training & Support

I'm working hard on mastering my leash skills and doing quite well! I'm also working on potty training and making progress, though I still need some encouragement as I'm still a baby. I'm very treat-motivated, which helps a lot. I'm learning basic commands like sit, stay, and down, and I know with treats and consistency, I can master these skills. I do great in my crate overnight and during the day when my foster parents are gone.
