Lucy

My name is Lucy, and I'm a roughly one-year-old, medium-sized mix with big, soulful eyes and a goofy personality. Not too long ago, I was found injured and unable to walk on the side of a highway. I had a long journey to recovery, but day by day, I got stronger. Now I'm feeling better than ever, healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever family. I'm a very affectionate dog who loves to be near my people, earning me the nickname "Velcro dog." I also love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful canine companion. I've been through a lot, but I've never lost my sweet, silly, and loving nature. I wake up every day excited to be alive and can't wait to share my love with a family of my own.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with another playful dog, as I love the company of other pups. I also want to be close to my people, so a home where I can be your constant shadow would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy and happy, and I'm continuing to gain weight and build muscle after my recovery.

I am a happy and loving dog who is ready for a family to shower with affection.
