Ollie

Ollie is a charming 7-year-old, 15-pound pup who is fully vetted and eager to find his special person. He came to us with another dog, Ruby, who has since been adopted. While Ollie wasn't bonded with Ruby, he was clearly used to her dominant personality and is now blossoming as he discovers his own identity. He's a friendly fellow, though he does tend to bark quite a bit, a common trait among Dachshunds! Ollie is generally good with other dogs of all sizes and shows little interest in cats. He enjoys cuddling and burrowing under blankets, and he truly thrives when he can sleep near his humans.

Ideal Home

Ollie would do well as an only dog or with one or two other small canine companions. He enjoys the company of both men and women and will warm up quickly once he feels comfortable.

Ollie is up-to-date on all his vetting.

Training & Support

Ollie can be a bit of a barker, as is typical for his breed. He may also mark in new environments when stressed, so he'll need a consistent potty schedule and gentle guidance as he adjusts. With a little patience and understanding, he'll surely settle in wonderfully.
