Becca is a German Shepherd mix, approximately 3.5 years old and weighing 63lbs. As with many rescues, her exact age and breed are a mystery.
Ideal Home
Becca is very dog-friendly and has a wonderful ability to match energy levels with other dogs. She's attended playgroup with up to 12 dogs and shares toys, treats, and attention graciously. She would do best with a moderately playful dog who enjoys both playtime and quiet time. However, if you don't have other dogs, Becca would also be a wonderful solo companion, as she is happy and confident on her own and would love to be the center of your world. Becca would do best in a home without any feline friends.

Becca is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations and preventative medications.
Training & Support
Becca is fully potty and crate trained and is a quick learner. She already knows basic commands like "sit," "down," and "paw." She walks well on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement or curiosity – easy corrections are all she needs. She aims to please and loves to learn new things, making her a fantastic candidate for advanced training and a great adventure buddy for walks, hikes, and even runs! Becca also has a calm side and is content to relax with a toy after some mental stimulation, enjoying sunbathing in a big backyard.

Transportation
Becca is located in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is handled with care on USDA-licensed vehicles, providing 24/7 supervision.
The adoption fee is $900, which includes all vetting (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, preventative medications), a health certificate for travel, and transport costs. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transport due to rising fuel expenses.
