Meet Lucinda!
Lucinda is a two-year-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who comes with excellent manners, a soft heart, and just a touch of theatrical flair. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs, which makes her an easy addition to most households. She settles in quickly and then politely, but persistently, inserts herself into your daily life.
Now, about that flair. Lucinda has opinions. If you are petting her, wonderful. If you stop petting her, this is a mistake and she will let you know. Not aggressively, just expressively. Think dramatic prairie dog energy. A gentle protest, a soulful look, maybe a small speech about how she has been wronged.
She does come with your standard Pyrenees settings: independent streak, a belief that she has a job which she has not yet determined, and a strong preference for having a fenced yard where she can patrol, supervise, and keep an eye on things she suspects may be up to no good.
There are no real issues here. Just a solid, affectionate, slightly opinionated dog who will love her people deeply and expect a reasonable amount of petting in return.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced yard is preferred, where Lucinda can patrol, supervise, and keep an eye on things.

Training & Support
Lucinda is a well-mannered dog, but she does have a theatrical flair and will express her opinions, particularly if petting stops. Understanding her "dramatic prairie dog energy" and responding with gentle reassurance will be key. Her independent streak and belief that she has a job are standard for her breed mix.
