Navajo, a charming 6.5-year-old, 75-pound Pitbull mix, is ready to be your loyal and loving adventure buddy! This sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup offers the perfect blend of playful energy and calm companionship. Navajo is just as happy to join you for a daily walk as he is to cuddle up for a cozy evening at home. He enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly in one-on-one or small group settings, and is learning to be more mindful of social cues. He's been great with dogs of all sizes and is doing well at daycare, improving his canine manners. Navajo is polite and non-reactive on leash, though he can pull a bit at the start of a walk when excited. He's fully house-trained and crate-trained and can be left unsupervised without issue, showing no signs of separation anxiety. He greets strangers with friendliness and has been wonderful around children. Navajo loves toys and is a champion cuddler. He's also an excellent car rider, a favorite at the vet, and has no issues with stairs. He has a strong prey drive towards cats and would do best in a cat-free home. Navajo’s personality is affectionate, playful, smart, curious, silly, and independent.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't need an ultra-active lifestyle, just consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend.
Ongoing Health
Navajo recently underwent dental surgery to remove several damaged teeth, including his canines. His remaining teeth are healthy, and he still enjoys chewing his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo is polite on leash and can occasionally need gentle redirection if he gets too excited during play. He is house-trained and crate-trained.
