Meet Buccee! This adorable little pup is sure to steal your heart with his playful personality and sweet snuggles. Buccee's mom was found as a stray near a busy freeway, and thankfully, she and her puppies were rescued just in time. Buccee was born on March 19, 2026, making him a 6-week-old male as of April 30, 2026. He currently weighs about 4 pounds and is estimated to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, based on his mother's 60-pound weight. Buccee will be ready for his forever home at 12 weeks old, once he's fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will also be adopted out on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.
Buccee is a bundle of joy who gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets, including dogs, cats, and children. His foster mom describes him as the sweetest pup, who loves belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings in the yard. He has a full puppy personality, enjoying romping and playing, but also loves to cuddle up in your lap.
Ideal Home
Buccee would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or with an active family who can help him burn off his puppy energy. He would likely enjoy having another dog in the home to learn from, but it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Buccee will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. He is also on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.
Training & Support
Buccee is still working on potty training and crate training. He is catching on quickly and his foster family is dedicated to helping him succeed. All puppies under one year of age are strongly encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes with their new families.
