Spike here! I might have a "manly" name, but I'm actually a big goofball who's super smart, silly, playful, and just so happy to be alive. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and have been getting the best care, making friends, and enjoying life while my heartworms are treated. Now, my biggest dream is to find my very own family! I'm good with other dogs, but since I can be a bit dominant, I'd do best as the only dog or with a submissive canine companion. As a Husky, I'm very active and need a family who understands the breed's needs – we're known escape artists and love to shed! I'm dreaming of escaping the Texas heat and would absolutely love a cooler climate. I'm ready for my forever home!

Ideal Home

I need a family that understands the Husky breed, as we are active and prone to escaping. A securely fenced yard is a must! I'd do best as an only dog or with a submissive canine friend. I'm looking for a cooler climate to call home.
