Meet Queen! This sweet approximately two-year-old lady is ready to trade her foster crown for a forever throne. Queen came to us with her puppies from a hoarding situation, and she was a devoted mother. Now that her little ones have all found their happily ever afters, it's her turn to be someone's whole world! Queen is a gentle soul who absolutely adores to cuddle. She's crate-trained and housebroken, and if you'll let her, she'd be happy to curl up in your lap and soak up all the love she's been missing.
Queen is not aggressive at all. She may enjoy having a calm, small, non-dominant dog friend to help show her that the world isn't so scary, but she'd also be perfectly happy as the center of your attention. She may need a little extra time to settle into a new home, and the family she's looking for will understand that trust is earned through patience, kindness, and consistency. Watching Queen blossom has been one of the greatest joys of fostering her. Every day she grows a little braver, a little more confident, and a little more playful. Beneath her timid exterior is a loving dog who simply wants to feel safe and loved.
Ideal Home
Queen would love a home that understands she may need a little extra time to adjust and build trust. Patience, kindness, and consistency are key to helping her feel safe and loved. She might enjoy the company of a calm, small, non-dominant dog friend, but she would also be perfectly content as the sole object of your affection.
