Phoenix

Hello there! I'm Phoenix, a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix looking for my forever home or a wonderful foster family. I recently had to leave my previous foster home through no fault of my own, and I really miss having people around to snuggle with and go on adventures. I weigh about 80 lbs and despite my age, I'm still quite active and very loving. I was rescued from a shelter a couple of years ago, where I was a favorite, and I'm hoping to find my special someone now. I'm affectionate, walk well on a leash, and I'm a loyal and sweet companion who will be your best friend for life. I do prefer to have my people around, but that's pretty standard for most dogs! I'm not a big barker, and I only make noise when it's warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our home, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, especially females, and I absolutely adore human attention, always offering warmth and care. A strong owner would be a great match for me.

I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I thrive when my people are around.
