Meet Chanel, a sweet and resilient terrier mix who's about 3 to 4 years young. Chanel's journey began in a tough spot at a New Mexico shelter, where she was sadly on the euthanasia list, feeling terrified and shut down. Thankfully, she was brought to Texas for a second chance and has blossomed into a happy, energetic dog who even donates blood to help save other animals! While her transformation is amazing, she's still looking for her perfect match.
Ideal Home
Chanel is searching for a patient family and would do best with a canine companion to help her rebuild her trust in humans. She enjoys toys and balls, especially soft squeakers, but can be easily startled by loud noises and is still learning how to play with them. Due to her past trauma, she can be a bit flinchy when hands reach toward her, so a gentle and understanding environment where she can take things at her own pace is essential.

Transporation
Chanel is located in Texas and can be transported to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH, LA. Transport to AZ is coming soon. There are predetermined pick-up locations and times. Transportation fees range from $100-$500, with custom transport routes and destinations available upon request for an additional fee. Texas adopters have a flat rate fee of $250 for in-state transport. Our transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and staffed by attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. For those picking up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee which includes vetting (DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping), a collar, and many years of love to come!
