Dowdy is full of playful energy and loves spending time with his people. He was found as a stray in a well-known dumping area in Dallas, left to fend for himself. Despite his rough start, he hasn’t let it dim his joyful spirit. He’s ready to leave the past behind and find a family who will love and care for him forever. Ideal Home
Dowdy would do best in a home with older kids who can handle his strength and enthusiasm, especially when he gets excited.
Ongoing Health
Dowdy has had a health exam completed by a veterinarian. He is up to date on all vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention. He is microchipped and has had a fecal analysis and heartworm test.

- Our adoption fee for Dowdy is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come, first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
- We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
