Meet Maple, a sweet, silly, and fun-loving 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who is overflowing with puppy love! Maple is currently living in a foster home with other big dogs and fits right in, happily wrestling, chasing, and cuddling with her foster siblings. She also shares her home with children and does wonderfully with them, making her a fantastic candidate for a family. However, she would also be just as content as the devoted best friend to a solo adopter. Maple is playful, affectionate, and absolutely adores toys, especially the squeakier, the better! Whether she's romping around with her dog friends or curled up at your feet, Maple is full of love and eager to share it. If you're looking for a fun-loving, cuddle-ready companion to grow with you, Maple is your girl!
Ideal Home
Maple would be happy in a family environment or with a solo adopter.
Ongoing Health
Maple is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, is spayed, and is up-to-date on flea prevention. She will be given a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, and if needed, a heartworm test and treatment. Maple is microchipped with free lifetime registration. A health certificate deeming her healthy for travel will be provided.
Training & Support
Maple's rescue has a 2-acre property where they assess every animal with trainers on staff. They modify behavior as needed and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization playgroups to keep dogs adoption-ready. On-site trainers support the positive growth of the dogs.
