Dagger is a 6.5-month-old spayed female Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. She is a fearless and affectionate puppy who loves to play and cuddle. Dagger was rescued from the streets with her mother and littermates and has been raised in a loving foster home. She is potty trained and is learning to be a confident and well-rounded dog. Dagger is friendly with strangers and enjoys playing with other dogs. She has been around children and has done well.
Ideal Home
Dagger is a talented escape artist, so a securely fenced yard is a must! She also thrives with canine companionship, so a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog is preferred. If you don't currently have a dog, please outline your plan for continued socialization. Dagger is still young and benefits from not being left alone for more than four to six hours at a time.
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns are noted for Dagger at this time.
Training & Support
Dagger is continuing to learn and mature, and will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice. Socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is crucial for building her lifelong confidence.
