Nona is a spirited 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is ready to bring joy and laughter into her forever home! She's currently being fostered in Austin, TX, but can transport out of state to approved adopters. Nona is a delightful blend of playful puppy energy and growing confidence. Her sturdy, low-rider build is as endearing as her personality. She's a fast runner who loves to zoom around the yard and greets her foster mom with enthusiastic leaps. Nona is a sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys being near her people. Her whole body wiggles with excitement, and her tail wags non-stop! She's a social butterfly, enjoying strolls and meeting new friends, both human and canine. Nona is also incredibly clever and loves a good puzzle. She's a quick learner, especially when motivated by toys and treats, and has already mastered "sit."
Ideal Home
Nona would thrive in a home that can appreciate her playful spirit and provide continued positive reinforcement for her training. While she has done wonderfully with a child in the past and we believe she'd do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy, she hasn't been around cats or young children in a home setting. She would be happy with a confident canine companion who is respectful of her space and happy to share attention, or as an only pet.

Training & Support
Nona is working on her leash manners and would benefit from continued training reinforcement. She is fully crate trained and potty trained, and her new family will need to continue reinforcing her routine. She can be a shy watchdog and will alert to unfamiliar sounds or sights.
