BENJI 2 (Playful, Independent, Loves Dogs and People and Handsome)

Meet Benji, a handsome 8-month-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix with the most captivating light green eyes you've ever seen! His golden-tan coat, adorable white socks, and freckled nose make him a true heart-stealer. Benji came into rescue through no fault of his own, and despite his past, he's brimming with love and ready to find his forever family.

Benji is a social butterfly who adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. His favorite pastimes include playing tug-of-war, zooming around with his canine pals, and carrying his favorite stuffed toys everywhere. He's not a big barker, travels like a pro in the car, and loves to be involved in his people's activities. While he might offer a friendly bark to new arrivals, it's just his way of saying hello!

Ideal Home

Benji would thrive in an active home where his smart mind and energetic nature can be nurtured. Given his long legs and ability to jump, he might excel in activities like agility training. He enjoys the company of other dogs and people.

Ongoing Health

Benji is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.

Training & Support

Benji is crate trained and is currently working on his house training. He walks okay on a leash. His independent spirit and jumping ability mean he'll benefit from continued training and enrichment to keep his mind engaged.
