Rags is a handsome Rottweiler mix, estimated to be born in 2015, weighing around 72#. He was found as a stray in Detroit and, thankfully, has completed his heartworm treatment and is now negative. Rags is a true character and a delightful companion who thrives on human attention. He's incredibly loving, sweet, silly, smart, and cuddly, often leaning in for extra pets. He's also a gentle soul on walks, doesn't pull, and makes for an excellent car co-pilot. Rags has an overbite that causes his tongue to occasionally stick out, adding to his unique charm. He is dog-social, but his compatibility with cats is unknown.
Ideal Home
Rags would do best in a quieter home with less foot traffic, making him an excellent companion dog rather than a primary family dog. A completely enclosed, physically fenced yard is a requirement for his new home. He is looking for a home where he can be loved and spoiled for the rest of his days.
Ongoing Health
Rags has successfully completed his heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
