Tarzan

Tarzan is a special boy with a remarkable rescue story. He spent about six months in a small, run-down shelter before our rescue learned of his needs and knew he wouldn't thrive there. Initially, he was anxious and shut down around people, but he gained confidence around other dogs. Through professional evaluation and the help of an experienced foster, we discovered he likely hadn't received proper socialization in his first year of life. Now, at two and a half years old, Tarzan is doing wonderfully in his foster home with six other dogs and an experienced dog trainer as his mom! He's learned many tricks and commands, and his anxiety around people has greatly improved. Tarzan is a precious soul with a great outlook on life, and despite his past, he's ready to find his forever family. He's about knee-high and won't take up much space, but he's guaranteed to take up a huge space in your heart!

Ideal Home

Tarzan loves other dogs, so a home with at least one canine companion is a must for him to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Tarzan is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Tarzan's anxiety around people has improved significantly with proper socialization and training. He has learned many tricks and commands and continues to do well in his foster home.
