Momo Sugar the Happiest Petite Fella

You just HAVE to meet Momo! This petite fella has a personality that's larger than life and he's eagerly waiting for you to sign on the dotted line and bring him home! He's dog-friendly, loves to play, kid-friendly, and a great car rider – the list of wonderful traits goes on and on! There is just so much to love about this happy little guy.

Momo Sugar is a pittie mix, approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 37 lbs. As with any rescue, we can't guarantee breed or age, but with his long body, short legs, bouncy ears, adorable nose, and perfectly curled tail, he's a delightful mystery!

Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he's an expert in self-entertainment. But don't let his playful energy fool you; once he's had his fun, he's all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes.

He's currently thriving in a busy foster home with multiple dogs of all ages and sizes, including his best friend, a tiny Chihuahua! They love to wrestle, snuggle, and just enjoy each other's company. Momo makes doggy friends easily and truly enjoys having canine companions to romp with. He's not all play, all the time, though. After a good play session or a game of fetch in the yard, he's perfectly content to settle down for a nap. Momo has also been around children aged 7-10, including an autistic child, and has done wonderfully with kids! He plays with enthusiasm and has the best time playing fetch with older children who are a bit more stable on their feet.

Momo is a smarty pants too! He already knows commands like "sit" and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. He is also crate trained and potty trained, with excellent house manners. Speaking of exploring, Momo makes a great shotgun rider, so the possibilities are limitless for where you'll go together! He often joins his foster family for trips to the local dog park, where he can show off his fetch skills.

Momo is crate trained, potty trained, and knows the "sit" command. He is eager to please and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and daily walks to explore and burn energy.

Transportation

Momo is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US with our own internal transport, traveling to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Our USDA licensed vehicles provide 24/7 care during transport. There will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport due to rising fuel costs.
