Buddy

Buddy is a charming Southern Gentleman who wins over everyone he meets with his sweet personality and irresistible charm. This handsome 6-7 year-old boy has lived a difficult life, currently being treated for heartworms, having had a mass removed, and his teeth are ground down from years of desperately trying to chew his way out of a confined space. On paper, Buddy comes with a list, but in person, he comes with the biggest heart, the gentlest soul, and enough cuddles to last a lifetime. Buddy doesn't know he's carrying a little extra baggage; he just knows he loves people, craves affection, and is finally getting the chance to experience the life every dog deserves. He's ready to trade his painful past for a soft bed, belly rubs, and a family to call his own.

Ideal Home

A special person who can see beyond the medical notes and fall in love with the amazing dog underneath, a dog who has survived so much but still greets the world with a wagging tail and an open heart. A foster or foster-to-adopt home would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is currently being treated for heartworms, had a mass removed, and his teeth are ground down. Project Safe Pet will cover all of Buddy's medical care and supplies.

Buddy’s past is unknown, but he is a very affectionate and loving dog.
