Leila is a goofy girl full of happiness and doesn't stop smiling! At just under two years old (DOB 07/16/2021), she finds joy in the simple things: daily walks or jogs, a bit of fun, and plenty of snuggle time. She loves playing with people and makes friends with ease! Leila is fairly good on a leash, though she might pull a bit when she sees other people – she just loves meeting everyone! She would be thrilled to have a child in the home to spend time playing fetch and tug-of-war with her in the yard. Whatever it is, Leila is happy to roll with it, and she's even good with cats!
Leila would love to be your best friend and would probably love being your one and only. While she enjoys playing with doggie friends at day camp, she can be a bit jealous of toys, so a home where she's the star might be best. She doesn't require a fenced-in yard and would be a great fit for a condo, townhome, or apartment, as long as she gets plenty of fun time each day. Speaking of playtime, Leila adores toys, especially fluffy ones that she can happily destroy! Tougher toys are a better bang for your buck with this enthusiastic player.
Though she likes to cuddle, Leila isn't super lazy and definitely needs an outlet for her energy. She also absolutely loves car rides! She's happy to hop in and join you for errands, coffee runs, or even a hike. Leila is very social and attracts strangers with her great smile and happy-go-lucky spirit. While she's done okay playing with other dogs at daycare, she's looking for a home where she can be your one and only. She's perfectly happy walking and seeing other dogs on her strolls. She sleeps soundly in her own doggie bed or cot and is already crate trained, so she doesn't require crating. Leila is truly a gem of a girl, and you won't want to miss the opportunity to be her lifetime love!
Ideal Home
Leila would thrive in a home where she can be your one and only pet. She is happy to be in a condo, townhome, or apartment and does not require a fenced yard, as long as she gets plenty of daily fun and exercise. She would also love a child to play with in the yard.
Ongoing Health
Leila is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Leila can be a bit jealous of toys, so redirection may be needed. She enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. She is crate trained.
