Miss Nanners (20260708-01)

Miss Nanners is the sweetest girl who is ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family! This adorable one-year-old French Bulldog mix was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding and backyard breeding situation. For most of her life, she knew only the confines of a crate, but she has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate and happy companion. Miss Nanners lives for cuddles and truly believes she's a baby who needs to be carried around. She enjoys being close to her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing but doesn't require a canine companion to be happy. Her easygoing personality is punctuated by occasional bursts of zoomies, and she's making great progress with her house manners and leash skills. Miss Nanners is crate trained, rides well in the car, and is looking for a family with a yard, lots of love, and a special spot on the couch for her.

Ideal Home

Miss Nanners needs a home with a yard and someone who is home for much of the day to give her the companionship she craves. She cannot live in an apartment.

Ongoing Health

Miss Nanners may have a chicken allergy and experienced skin issues on her feet when she first arrived, but these have since resolved.

Training & Support

Miss Nanners is crate trained and rides well in the car. She is still working on her leash skills and house manners, occasionally having accidents but using pee pads when she first arrived. She is not a nuisance barker and is not food aggressive. All dogs are fed in crates to prevent food aggression.

Transporation

Miss Nanners is currently located in South Carolina and will travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter is found. Transport to Ontario is available.
