Bunny

Meet Bunny! This sweet lady came to the shelter in urgent need of safety and care. She arrived from a tough situation and was in rough condition. She's spent the last few months on an amazing journey back to wellness and increased mobility. Bunny can now do everything that dogs do! Besides being a great house guest, she's house-trained and enjoys yard time with sunshine on her face. Short walks help her muscle strength, and she's also a fish when guided in a swimming pool. She gives and receives so much affection and has earned a reputation as a lap dog.

Ideal Home

Bunny will do best in a single-story home as the only animal.

Ongoing Health

Bunny has a condition that makes her wobbly and unsteady on her feet. She is aided by traction helpers like rugs, mats, and flat outdoor surfaces. Her Help Em Up harness also makes guiding her easier. Her care includes occasional skin and eye management and keeping her muscles in good tone.

Training & Support

Bunny is house-trained and enjoys short walks for exercise.
