Meet Stella! This stunning black and tan Great Dane is about 1 year old and already a magnificent 120+ pounds, with plenty of growing left to do! Don't let her impressive size fool you; Stella is a gentle giant who adores being by her people's side. She came to us from a loving home where she was cherished by a single mom and her young daughter. However, they found they didn't have the extensive time a growing Great Dane requires. Now, Stella is searching for a forever family who can shower her with the affection, attention, and companionship she truly deserves.
Ideal Home
Stella is a social butterfly who gets along famously with dogs of all sizes and particularly enjoys boisterous play with her larger canine pals. A home with another playful dog who enjoys wrestling would be a fantastic fit for her. We are unsure how she would do with cats. She's already mastered being kennel trained, is house-broken, and knows her way around a doggy door. Stella is also a big fan of car rides! While she can be a bit vocal when excited, it's just her big personality shining through.
Ongoing Health
Stella is already spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Training & Support
Stella is already house-trained and kennel-trained. You'll need to be committed to providing ongoing housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming, and positive socialization throughout her life.

- We verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, and veterinary references.
Transportation
Stella is currently in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
