Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old Cane Corso/Weimaraner mix is about 60 pounds of pure sweetness and affection. Smokey came to us as a stray and is now fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and more than ready to find his forever family. He's a smart, kind-hearted boy who just adores attention and cuddles. Smokey is a total couch potato who enjoys relaxing with his humans, but he also loves a good game of chase with his doggy friends. He's a very submissive and gentle soul, never showing a mean bone in his body.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and explore safely. He would do best in a home without cats. Due to his shyness with new people, a low-traffic environment would be ideal. He would also do well with a canine companion, as he loves playing with other dogs.

Smokey is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. While he can be a little nervous and bark out of excitement around strangers, he's easily redirected. He can pull slightly at first on walks but quickly settles. He's not a fan of being crated and prefers to rest freely. Smokey does experience some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when left alone, though he doesn't destruct anything and eventually calms down. He would benefit from a home where someone works from home or can provide him with lots of companionship throughout the day. Patience and gentle redirection will help him continue to gain confidence.
