Audrey

Audrey is an incredibly resilient and sweet lady who has overcome so much. Her fur is wonderfully soft, and despite her endearing "sugared face," we don't know her exact age. She's a very upbeat adult dog who had a litter over the winter. Her eyes are clear and bright, and while her teeth are worn, they are mostly white. Audrey is missing a portion of her nose and has sustained injuries in the past, but this has not diminished her spirit. She was found caring for puppies in challenging circumstances, which speaks to her maternal nature.

Audrey is thrilled to be an indoor dog and has developed a bit of a prissy attitude towards mud and wet grass. She absolutely adores mealtime! Now that she's feeling her best, she's showing off her goofy side and even gets the zoomies. She greets everyone with a tail wag, albeit from a distance initially, and does a cute "tippy tap dance" when you speak to her sweetly. She enjoys pets and cuddles from people she knows and truly wants to be near her family.

Ideal Home

Audrey would thrive in a home that offers understanding and patience. She is defensive with new dogs until she's comfortable that they won't hurt her, after which she forms good friendships. She loves older children.

Ongoing Health

Audrey is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Audrey is house-trained and knows many words, but "sit" has been a bit of a challenge. With consistent positive reinforcement, she can learn new things.
