As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing in at 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people and loves to cuddle. Chip is a bit cautious when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever! He's a Velcro dog and will be your shadow everywhere you go. Chip enjoys sniffing walks, is leash-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained. He also loves being outdoors and is the king of costumes!
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive with an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He enjoys playing with his canine companions and would do best with calm, submissive doggy siblings who are happy to engage in play. Chip asks that he not live with any cats. He would also do well as an only dog if he has opportunities for outings. Chip can experience separation anxiety when left alone, but he is working on it and can be crated. He would love a family that can keep up with his training and would happily accompany you on outings, as he enjoys car rides and walks. Chip has done well around older children.

Transporation
Chip is currently in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and Chip will be on the next available transport once approved.
