Scrappy

Scrappy is a charming adult male Terrier mix who was rescued from a possible hoarding situation. He came to Robin Hood Animal Rescue with his son, Stitch, and Pugsley. Scrappy has adjusted wonderfully to his new life, showing a capacity for love and patience. He enjoys playing with other dogs, though sometimes a bit too roughly, and loves to snuggle up with his son, Stitch, for naps. Scrappy is smaller in size and more open to hugs and affection than Stitch, but he's making great progress in becoming more comfortable with attention.

Ideal Home

Scrappy would likely do well in a home with other dogs, especially his son Stitch. He enjoys playtime and sleeping together, so a home that can accommodate this bond would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Scrappy has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Scrappy sometimes plays too rough with his son, Stitch. Guidance on appropriate play for both of them would be beneficial. He is also becoming more open to affection, and continued positive reinforcement will help him blossom.
