Mars

Meet Mars! This handsome boy is about 2 years old and weighs around 45-50 lbs. He was found abandoned by the side of the road, but thankfully, some kind people took him in and fed him until our team could rescue him. Now, Mars is living with a dog trainer and learning to trust again. He's a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets and is great with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good romp! With a little guidance, he could even learn to share his home with feline friends. Mars would do best with older children who won't be accidentally bowled over by his enthusiastic greetings. His recall is fantastic, and we know he'd make a wonderful companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Mars would do well with older children who he couldn't accidentally knock over. He is great with other dogs and could also live in a home with cats with structure and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is heartworm positive and has already started the slow-kill treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the cost of treatment. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a local dog trainer and is learning to become a dog again. He is learning to be house-trained.
