Laika (Mara)

Laika is a lovely 1-year-old Boxer mix with a heart full of love to give! She was a tiny puppy when she first came into rescue and, after finding a home, has returned to us due to her previous family's medical issues. Laika truly thrives on human companionship and is eager to find her forever family. She has adjusted well to living with many other dogs in our rescue ranch setting, thanks to positive social experiences in doggie daycare during her previous adoption.

Ideal Home

Laika would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and affection. She's a great walking buddy and is already doing well on leash.

Ongoing Health

Laika has a seizure disorder, which is easily managed with daily medication. Our vet has her on a lifelong treatment plan, and we're hopeful this won't deter potential adopters.

Training & Support

Laika has some house skills from her previous adoption and is great on leash. She is ready to settle into a new home and continue to bond with her family.
