Radio

Meet Radio, a 2-year-old, 57 lb sweetheart who was found as a stray in June. She's a lower-energy girl with a calm demeanor that's quickly made her a favorite among our volunteers. The shelter can be a little overwhelming for Radio, so she may seem timid when first leaving her kennel. Once she's outside, though, she settles in nicely and enjoys taking her time to sniff, explore, and stay close to her person. A little gentle encouragement goes a long way with this sweet girl. Radio walks beautifully on leash, is easy to take in and out of her kennel, and loves treats, pets, and quiet companionship. If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing companion, Radio is ready to leave the shelter behind and start building her confidence in a home of her own.

Training & Support

Radio walks beautifully on leash and is easy to handle when leaving her kennel. She responds well to treats, pets, and quiet companionship. It is recommended that any resident dogs meet Radio before adoption.

Radio is located at our Greensboro, NC shelter. We are open for adoptions from 12-4 PM any day except Tuesdays. No appointment is needed to visit.
