Koda Bear Hug is a 1-year, 2-month-old, 53-pound Pittie mix who believes that the best place to be is right next to his favorite people. He's an affectionate, happy-hearted boy who is equal parts adventure buddy and oversized cuddle bug. Koda is a rescue, so his breed and exact age are our best guess, but we know for certain he's a loving, people-oriented dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's house-trained and crate-trained, and has been doing wonderfully in his foster home, proving he can live successfully in an apartment. He would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy more outdoor adventures. Koda loves giving kisses, being close to his people, and making sure everyone is included in cuddle time. He's also a big fan of fun, enjoying trips to the park, car rides, and all sorts of toys. When meeting new people, Koda is friendly and excited, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. He is gentle and affectionate with children and would love to be included in any cuddle pile.
Ideal Home
Koda's ideal family will appreciate his enthusiasm for life and continue helping him polish his manners as he's still growing out of his puppy days. He would do best with a confident, dog-savvy feline friend rather than kittens, and a tolerant, playful dog who won't mind reminding him about personal space.
