Katarina

Katarina is a 1.5-year-old, 67 lb German Shepherd mix with the most incredible heart. She was found dumped at an abandoned house with her four puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. As if that wasn't enough, she later took in and nursed three additional puppies who had been abandoned at just 34 weeks old. This girl doesn't just love; she protects and nurtures with her whole soul. Now that all of her babies are safe, it's finally her turn to be someone's baby. Katarina absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily roll over to soak up all the affection you're willing to give. She's wonderful with kids and has a gentle, loving nature with her people. She also loves other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with.

Ideal Home

Katarina would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of affection and companionship. She needs a home without goats or chickens, and likely would not do well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Katarina is up to date on her vaccinations and spayed.

Training & Support

Katarina is fully potty trained and pretty crate trained. However, she will require a heavy-duty crate if crated, as she is strong and smart enough to break out of a standard wire crate.

Transporation

Katarina is currently located in Texas. We coordinate with our ground transport teams to ensure safe arrival for both local and out-of-state adoptions. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees.
